My passion for skincare began at a young age. Growing up as one of five girls, I always had a ready group of (usually willing!) patients to assess and treat using homemade concoctions. However, my path to dermatology was profoundly shaped by a personal experience: when I was young, my grandmother was diagnosed with skin cancer. Without access to a dermatologist, I saw firsthand the gaps in the care she needed. This left a lasting impression on me and motivated me to make a difference in the field of dermatology. Today, I am proud to combine my childhood curiosity and passion for skin health with a commitment to providing exceptional, comprehensive care to my patients.

I approach patient care with a holistic mindset, prioritizing both medical needs and emotional well-being. One of the significant challenges I face in my role is combating misinformation that patients often encounter through the internet and social media. Many generalizations are made about skin conditions, treatments, and what is considered 'best,' which can lead to confusion and unrealistic expectations.

At our practice, we strive to provide an individualized approach to care, recognizing that each patient's needs are unique. Addressing this misinformation requires education and reassurance, but it’s a challenge I welcome. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping patients navigate their concerns and empowering them with accurate information tailored to their specific situations. Ultimately, guiding them toward informed decisions about their skin health brings me immense joy.

My future goals for my practice center around enhancing the patient experience and expanding our offerings to meet the diverse needs of our community.
