Pain Level: 7/10 (numbing required) This treatment carries a reasonable pain level. Numbing is required to make the session tolerable for most people. Pain tolerance varies person to person and some may find this more painful than others.
A ResurFX treatment takes approximately 30-45 mins in addition to topical numbing cream application.
Immediately after treatment patients should expect some redness, swelling, and changes in pigmentation. Patients will also experience a hot sensation in the treatment area.

ResurFX uses a non-ablative laser to create controlled micro-injuries, stimulating collagen production while keeping the skin’s surface intact. The treatment takes about 30-45 minutes. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand for comfort. You may feel mild warmth or a tingling sensation as the laser works. Afterward, the skin may be pink and slightly swollen, similar to a mild sunburn.
Post Treatment
Redness and mild swelling can last for 1–3 days, with some patients experiencing slight roughness or flaking as the skin renews. It’s important to keep the skin hydrated, avoid direct sun exposure, and use gentle skincare. SPF is essential to protect your results.
Follow up
For best results, 3-5 sessions are typically recommended, spaced about 4-6 weeks apart. With each session, your skin’s texture, tone, and elasticity will continue to improve. Follow-up visits allow us to monitor your progress and refine your treatment plan as needed.
